EU-Whistleblower Directive
The European Parliament passed the Directive on the protection of whistleblowers (2019/1937) on 07.10.2019. According to the Directive, companies must essentially adapt to the following innovations:

Whistleblowers may not have their employment terminated nor may they suffer retaliation by other means based on a tip-off.
