4. Decision on follow-up measures and actions and feedback to the whistleblower

Upon receipt of the notification, the company decides on follow-up actions, i.e. measures for verifying the validity of the allegations levelled in the notification and, where appropriate, to rectify the reported infringement (e.g. internal investigations). The whistleblower must be informed of follow-up action within three months (six months in exceptional cases).
